How do I control what emails I get from Amazon?

I only want emails from amazon when I order something(about my order) but when I don’t order something I just get junk mail.

At the bottom of the advertisement email click “opt-out here”.
Sign into your personal Amazon.com account.
Click “Your Account” in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Scroll down to settings, and under the bold heading of “”E-Mail from Amazon”, you will find a link that says “E-mail Preferences & Notifications”. Click on this.
Here, you can choose the e-mails that you would like to receive from Amazon. Disable all except for “Legal Notices” to only receive proof of purchases.
