I have a 5min dvd. It takes alot of space because it is high quality.
What program can i use to turn the dvd into a video on the computer. (Like a dvd decrypter) Then change size so i can upload it to youtube. (Make the quality worse so the size gets less.)

Whenever I convert avi to dvd and play them on my dvd player they keep freezing and the disc are not scratched or nothing can someone tell me why it keeps doing it please? VCD plays fine tho and orindary dvd aswell.
its an ordinary dvd player and I do have a dvd-rom but i dont play movies on that.

I just reformatted my hardrive and my computer need the drivers for my memory card and dvd drive. I have the cd but my cd/dvd drive had no drivers so how can I use the disc if the cd dvd drive wont work?

I’ve tried a few and they work but they arent playable on dvd players, only on the computer. Is this because of the type of video they are? is there a program i can get that will convert them so i will be able to play them on dvd players, and once they are converted will i be able to burn them with the program i already have?

I am fairly good at figuring out the computer, but the whole DVD burning has me stumped. I tried burn4free dvd and it looked pretty complicated to me. I need something that is for a beginner, with simple instructions. I don’t know how to figure out speed or anything like that. I looked through some of the resolved questions and I don’t want a link to a tutorial. I would like suggestions on user-friendly software (whatever the price). I want to burn DVD’s of friends and family slideshows. I would also like to be able to put a movie or two on my ipod. Thanks for any suggestions!
I have windows XP and I’m using Windows Movie Maker at the moment until I find better software for making slideshows.
Would I have a DVD burner program and not know it? I didn’t see it under the Change/delete programs or in my start up>all programs listing. Could it be buried somewhere?
