The True Photography Weapon- Pistol Camera, What “Your life” Wanted Digital Electronics

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

If a beauty stands in front of you with a pistol in her hand, what your reaction will be? Will you smile to her? Or raise your hands and surrender? If somebody is shooting at you, will you just stand by or step toward to stop him? Be calm, don’t be worried, it’s just sort of fun. The pistol showing in the picture is not a real one. Actually, it’s a digital electronics, to be exact, a digital camera which just looks like a pistol.

The idea of the pistol-design camera is shooting as you are ready to aim. It was regarded as portable electronic gadgets or mini-camera. The concept was developed by the famous designer Franziska Dierschke. A unique digital electronic of new concept –the pistol design digital camera whose camera lens is the pistol head. At present, it’s just a kind of concept product instead of sale. It hasn’t appeared on the market as the designer’s aim is just for fun.

The digital camera is not featured with the lens, view finder, memory card extending and photo flash as the typical camera but work in the same principle of Pinhole camera. Compared with the normal digital camera, the electronic product was not functioned with the optical zoom, photo flash, memory card and manual zoom lens and so on. But as it’s just a kind of concept products. Only amusement is required.

You may suppose we will get a lomo photo whose aim is to please people acted only as a small toy. After all, no view finder, E-zoom and memory card extending is available which is the basic functions of the modern camera is.

The pistol-shape digital camera is certain to be rather cool. But there is also a strong suggestion that don’t use the unique camera on public. It’s not a big deal to freak somebody up. However, if dispute is arisen, some hurts can be caused and even draw attention of the policemen; we can’t imagine what will happen. It’s also unimaginable to take the dingus to pass the airport customs or any other sensitive districts. Thus, maybe it’s suitable for the photography enthusiasts to photo in the open air.

Now the digital camera is the hot electronic product. The pistol-design digital camera is sure to be of the unique design. Though it can only photo out the picture of the resolution of 640*480, but it’s far more enough to record the images, exchange the photos and font page.

In the high resolution DC age, it’s not easy for the special design to stand out from the crowd. It’s a pity it can’t get to compete with others. But on the other hand, we should feel satisfied that it has drawn endless attention solely by its instinct appearance.

Thanks for the designers who bring us the new idea to wider our prospects. Anyhow, though the pistol-design digital camera maybe can’t become a member of our wholesale electronics and be presented for our choice, it’s undeniable that it brings excitements and stimulus to our life.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief: A Review

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Percy Jackson is like and young teenager living in New York, except for the fact that his father is the Greek God, Poseidon. Being the son of the lord of the ocean and of earthquakes has some great advantages, like the ability to manipulate and control water. The downside of this is that since he has come of age his is now a prime target for the enemies of Greek Gods, namely any monster from Greek Mythology that you can think of.  And they are all pretty scary.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan is the first in a series of 5 books called Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It centers around Percy and his discovery that he is a half-blood, or demigod, the son of a human and a god. He discovers that there are others that share this trait and they gather together in a place called Camp Half Blood.

Percy meets with fellow demigods, centaurs, satyrs and other very-much-alive creatures of Ancient Greek Myth and even manages to rub shoulders with a few gods and a rather intimidating prophecy. Soon after he arrives at Camp Half-Blood however things start to fall apart. Percy is accused of stealing the God Zeus’ master lightning bolt. After he proclaims his innocence his is given 10 days to prove it and return the bolt to Mount Olympus.
Like any first book in an ongoing series, The Lightning Thief has to not only have a compelling story but it must also set up the characters and more importantly the world which the characters inhabit as engaging and ultimately convincing. Riordan does so deftly.

The premise that Greek Gods are alive (so to speak) and living in New York City, is delivered with great conviction and pacing. The story concludes wonderfully, offering a whiplash ending which will not only get young readers back for more but perhaps also get them interested in the mythology behind the story.

A highly recommended read for tweens, teens and adult readers. The movie adaptation comes out early February so check that out too.

In Bible versus Quran: make the foreign women like fluttering birds

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

This is the tenth article of the series: “The Foreigner woman in Bible versus Quran”

In the previous articles, we have seen that in Language, the “foreign” woman is the alien or the exotic or the outsider woman.  However, the Bible has another view.

As confirmed by the Bible, the “foreign” woman is the non-Israelite woman or the non-Jewish woman.

As a result, any non-Israelite or any non-Jewish woman is a “foreign” woman.

This indicates that the women in the Bible are but one of two categories; they are either Legitimate (genuine) or Foreign (strange).

In the previous two articles of this series (8-9), we discussed the Biblical concept and policy of treating the foreign women in war.

In the Bible, the Lord God recommends killing every woman who has slept with a man; but capturing and saving (for you) every girl who has never slept with a man.  Also, the Lord God recommends Killing the men and women, children, infants and suckling, cattle, sheep, camels and donkeys etc.

In the present article, we will discuss the Biblical policy of dealing with and treating the foreign women: 1) Shortly after the war is done and 2) At time of peace.

(1) How to deal with the foreign women shortly after the war is done

How to deal with the captive foreign women?

1.  You can marry a Beautiful Captive Woman

The Bible says: When you go to war against your enemies and the Lord your God delivers them into your hands and you take captives, if you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife.

2. but, first, Shave her head and Trim her Nails

The Bible says: Bring the Captive Woman into your home and have her shave her head and trim her nails

3.  Before marrying her, let her Mourn for a Full Month

The Bible says: And put aside the clothes she (the Captive Woman) was wearing when captured. After she has lived in your house and mourned her father and mother for a full month, then you may go to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife.

4.  And do not sell her since you have dishonored her

The Bible says: If you are not pleased with her (your wife), let her go wherever she wishes. You must not sell her or treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her.

However, there are three outcomes of marrying foreign women.

If you marry foreign women then you will:

A. Do evil in the eyes of the Lord,

B. Forget the Lord and

C. Serve and worship idols

1. The Bible says:  And the sons of Israel have dwelt in the midst of the Canaanite, the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, and take their daughters to them for wives, and their daughters have given to their sons, and they serve their gods; and the sons of Israel 1) did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, 2) forgot Jehovah their God and 3) served the Baalim and the Asheroth.

2. Also, He married Jezebel (foreign woman) and served and worshipped idol

The Bible says: He (Ahab son of Omri) not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal (an idol) and worship it.

————————————-

(2) How to deal with a foreign woman at time of peace?

1. Play the harlot with her, commit adultery with her

The Bible says: While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality (play the harlot) with the daughters of Moab:

2. Reproach her and all her neighbors all that are round about her

The Bible says: before your wickedness was uncovered, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and of all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, that do despite unto thee round about.

3. Make her like a fluttering bird pushed from the nest

The Bible says: Like fluttering birds, wandering birds pushed from the nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.

4. Do not let her rejoice and/or take pride

The Bible says: Tell it not in Gath; publish it not in the streets of Ashkelon, lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised exult.

An important question about the lamentation that should be taught to the people

The Bible says that David lamented with “this lamentation” over Saul and Jonathan his son, and he said it should be taught to the people of Judah.

In David’s Lament for Saul and Jonathan, King David said: behold, it is written in the book of Jashar.

But where is the book of Jashar? Why it is missed? Why it does not present among the Biblical books? Is that because the book of Jashar contains many frank prophecies about the Prophet Muhammad?

==================================

How to deal with the foreign woman in the Quran and Hadith?

The term “foreign woman” is not mentioned therein in the entire Quran; all women are equal in connection with their rights and responsibilities apart from their race, color, location etc.

On the other hand, the following names of persons and/or places are not mentioned therein in the entire Quran:

1. The Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites the Jebusites, Baalim, and Asheroth.

2. Ahab, Omri, Jeroboam, Nebat, Jezebel, Ethbaal, the Sidonians, Shittim, Moab, Syria and Philistines

3. Arnon, Gath, Ashkelon, Philistines, Saul, Jonathan and Jashar.

Moreover, the captives beautiful woman, shave her head and trim her nails, and her full month mourn is not present therein in the whole Quran.

In addition, the Bible says: “since you have dishonored her (your wife)”.

Nevertheless, in narrated Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad says:

“The best of you is the best to his wife (not to dishonor her)”.

==================================

The Bible (King James Version)

Deuteronomy 21:10-14

10When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive,

11And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;

12Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;

13And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.

14And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled (humiliated) her.

Judges 3:5-7

5And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:

6And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.

7And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

1 Kings 16:31

31And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

Numbers 25:1

1And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

Ezekiel 16:57

57Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise thee round about.

Isaiah 16:2

2For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

2 Samuel 1:17-20

17And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

18(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

19The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

20Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
